Ursula James is a multimedia journalist, scriptwriter, and fashion expert. With over a decade of experience addressing topical issues concerning education, diversity, and economic impact, minority culture, entertainment, philanthropy, and more. Ursula is committed to bringing the spotlight to brand initiatives.

Ms. James is the former Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Fl. During her time at B-CU she established the B-CU Connect news publication, weekly university Good News, curated marketing, and development campaigns and has served on the B-CU branding team to name a few. At B-CU Ms. James strengthened the department by highlighting B-CU research efforts, increase in University fundraising, assisted in the growth of internal and external communications tools, and enhanced the university message through brand awareness.

During her free time, Ms. James enjoys spending time with her friends, family and church family, shopping and styling clients, traveling and visiting the beach. Since 2008, youth advocacy has been an initiative near to her heart.
