With over a decade of experience addressing topical issues concerning education, diversity, and economic impact, minority culture, entertainment, philanthropy, and more, Ursula is committed to bringing the spotlight to brand initiatives. 
 

Ursula is also the founder of CouturePR, specializing in Public Relations and Image Consulting. Ms. James works closely with each client to achieve their company vision and objectives. Her most sought-after services include but are not limited to social media brand and awareness, engagement, philanthropic campaigns as well as events for inspirational speakers, authors, and athletes. She aims to leave an impression on her clients with each interaction.

Her team has a proven track record of excellence in navigating various social media platforms. Also, aiding in enhancing connections between clients and their desired clientele to increase brand recognition and potential consumers.

Since its inception, Ursula’s goal is to position CouturePR among the strongest and most respected, globally sought-after public relations firms. Her mission is to provide the highest quality of services by focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships.

Additionally, Ms. James is the former Assistant Director of Communications at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Fl. During her time at B-CU she established the B-CU Connect news publication, weekly university Good News, curated marketing, and development campaigns, and has served on the B-CU branding team to name a few. At B-CU, Ms. James strengthened the department by highlighting B-CU research efforts, increasing university fundraising, assisting in the growth of internal and external communications tools, and enhancing the university message through brand awareness.

 

Ms. James has represented brands such as Style Lives On, The Power Promise Organization, Javacya Arts Conservatory, Dewayne Dedmon (Orlando Magic NBA), Salon Allure, ExclusiveStandards.com, along with notable International Speakers, Athletes, Authors, and Corporate Executives. Her continued mission to advocate for youth and help promote brands translates into her daily living.
 

During her free time, Ms. James enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and church family, shopping and styling clients, traveling, and visiting the beach. Since 2008, youth advocacy has been an initiative near to her heart.
